What happens in the trial lesson?
Your tutor gets to know the learner, checks their level through conversation and short activities, and talks through goals. With young children the lesson is playful, with pictures, games and movement. Adults can bring real situations they want to practise.
At the end you’ll get a recommendation for the level and the kind of lessons that will help most.
How long is the trial, and what does it cost?
The trial is one 30-minute lesson offered at a reduced price. You’ll see the exact price for your subject before you pay.
Who are the tutors?
Our tutors come from all around the world and are experienced, qualified teachers. Every tutor goes through regular quality checks. Based on the learner’s profile, we match them with a tutor who fits their level, age and goals.
What do we need for the lesson?
A laptop or tablet with a camera, a microphone and a stable internet connection, plus a quiet spot. We’ll send the lesson details after booking. For younger children, it helps if a parent stays nearby at the start.
What happens after I book?
Our support team contacts you to confirm a time that suits you. Once the lesson is confirmed, you’ll get access to your personal account, where you can manage your details, lessons and packages. Confirmations are also sent by email.
Can I change the time?
Yes. If your plans change, message our support team and they’ll help you pick a new time.
